Intelligence Community Requirements
The Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 regulates all technical & physical security requirements for SCIF structures, which Clegg Industries has met.
NFPA 70 Code
We follow the NFPA 70, National Electrical Code (NEC), which is the benchmark for safe electrical design, installation, and inspection to protect people and property from electrical hazards.
Through Tempest our SCIF structures are Shielded Enclosure Certified, Shielding Effectiveness Testing Certified, & The Measurement of Acoustic Attenuation Certified.
International Building Code Requirements
The International Building Code (IBC) was created to “preserve public health and safety that provides safeguards from hazards associated with the built environment. It addresses design and installation of innovative materials that meet or exceed public health and safety goals.”
International Traffic in Arms Regulations
We adhere to the regulations of The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). This U.S. entity exists to restrict and control the export of defense and military related technologies to safeguard U.S. national security and further U.S. foreign policy objectives.
Life and Safety Code
The Life and Safety Code (LSC) is a set of fire protection requirements designed to provide a reasonable degree of safety from fire. It covers construction, protection, and operational features designed to provide safety from fire, smoke, and panic. Our structures adhere to this code.
